PICO organised the sixth policy workshop on 29 November 2019 to discuss ways to strengthen ageing-in-place arrangements and end-of-life care services. Mr Andrew FUNG, Director & CEO of the Hong Kong Policy Research Institute, made recommendations for the support of home carers and community care. Another speaker Prof Helen CHAN, Associate Professor of the CUHK Nethersole School of Nursing, shared her research on palliative and end-of-life care services.
Representatives of the Food and Health Bureau and the Labour and Welfare Bureau as well as colleagues from PICO attended the workshop and exchanged views with the speakers.
