Introduction

The Chief Executive’s Council of Advisers is a high-level advisory body to advise the Chief Executive on the strategic development of Hong Kong, leveraging on opportunities from national and global developments. The Council will take into account Hong Kong’s unique advantages and strengths under “One Country Two Systems” and its strong fundamentals, as well as the enormous business potential arising from innovation and technology, and further integration into national development as well as deepening regional and global collaborations. The Council is organised along three broad streams, namely, economic advancement and sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship as well as regional and global collaborations to facilitate more focused and in-depth dialogues. The Chief Executive’s Policy Unit serves as the Secretariat of the Council.
